LANDSCAPE ELEMENTS, LLC was established to provide clients with a full range of landscape architectural services that focus on the elements of creative design, landscape ecology and cultural landscape preservation. Throughout our design and planning process we look to preserve and enhance historic and cultural landscape patterns as well as conserve natural resources. This approach provides the client with projects that blend the design into the environmental and cultural character of the site.

Elena M. Pascarella, principal of the firm, received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and has done graduate studies in historic landscape preservation at the University of Virginia. Having worked in both the public and private sectors, in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and southeastern Connecticut, Ms. Pascarella holds landscape architectural registrations in all 3 of these states and is certified through the Council of Landscape Architectural Review Boards. Her experience with coastal and freshwater wetland regulatory requirements in both Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut has enabled clients to readily move projects through the permitting process. A Rhode Island native, she currently resides in Pawcatuck (Stonington), CT where she serves as a member of the town's Open Space Committee.

The firm's range of project experience includes community and land use planning, residential, commercial and municipal site design, streetscape enhancement design, park and recreational design, landscape master planning, cultural landscape analysis, historic preservation and wetland mitigation/restoration projects.
